The Importance of Registries

Woo hoo you're engaged!! And now you realize you have SO much to do! One of those being your registry. I find it's important to do this sooner rather than later. You will always be able to add items to your registry, but getting a good base started right away will take a load off. Think about it...family and friends are going to want to start throwing you parties and showers galore. Odds are, people are going to bring a gift to these gatherings and they are going to want to have an idea of what to get you! You might be thinking, "It feels strange telling people what I want". It's About Time

Wow. I can't believe I finally did it. I have left the consistency and security of having a 'real job' to start my own event planning company. Let me just tell you that my husband is WONDERFUL! Without his support this wouldn't even be possible. I have spent many nights worried and tearful about what was next for me, and he has always been more than understanding and helpful with this crazy idea of mine. After an evening with lots of wine and a motivational speech from my mother, I knew it was about time. After a couple weeks of creating a logo & website, ordering marketing materials, opening up new social media accounts, and filing for an LLC, here I am writing my very first blog post. CRAZ
